We stayed at the Villa Giotto throughout August 2022 and had a wonderful family holiday. The setting is beautiful in the hills above Castiglion Fiorentino, overlooking olive groves and the vineyard - we were delighted to see wild boar on occasions! The villa itself is spectacular and even better than the photographs would suggest. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay very straightforward and relaxed. The general location is excellent for visits to Siena and Florence although Cortona, Arezzo, Civitella and Castiglion Fiorentino are all worth visiting and have their own charm, especially in August as many towns hold festivals with long histories. We were so impressed that we are now seriously considering a return visit in the future.
Thanks again to the owners for making us feel so welcome.Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si

Bonjour,
Bien cordialement

Hello,
Overall, a good stay.
However, we complained about the lack of air conditioning. It was indicated that the house was air conditioned. In fact, there was only one air-conditioned room: the living/dining room. In the bedrooms, there were only ceiling fans, which had no effect. Upstairs, the heat was unbearable. Please note that we had 3 children + 1 elderly person aged 86.
We pointed this out when we handed over the keys on our departure.
Otherwise, the photos were consistent with the accommodation, the pool just behind the house.
The small courtyard/patio was nice

Ideally facilitated appartement. The large swimming pool is a luxury during hot summers. Friendly hosts and staff.

Perfect vacation !!! Lovely house and surroundings. The house looks like I would expect a tuscany house should look like, lovely. The pool is perfect, particular if you have real summer weather.
Good access to Florence and other sightseeing sites. Very friendly and super helpful landlord (Fabio and Susanna). We really enjoyed our stay and are considering to come back.Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si
