This cabin offers a peaceful riverside location, a spacious yard, and a private sauna — the perfect escape from everyday life without unnecessary frills. A cozy and practical 60 m² cabin located about 77 km east of Oulu, by the Utosjoki River in Sanginkylä village. The center of Utajärvi municipality is about 18 km away.
The cabin features a living room, open-plan kitchen, and one bedroom with two 80 cm wide beds, plus a sofa bed (140 cm) in the living room. The bathroom has an electric sauna, and there is also a separate WC.
Built in 2000 and renovated in 2016, the cabin includes a covered terrace that provides shelter from the rain and a large yard with plenty of space to relax and enjoy outdoor activities.
The cabin is situated on the banks of the Utosjoki River, with a pier about 30 meters from the terrace. Access to the pier is via a steep riverbank slope, so caution is required when descending. The river bottom is soft sand and deepens quickly, so children should be carefully supervised. Guests have access to a rowing boat (please remember to pull it ashore after use) and an outdoor storage.

Are you looking for an easy and cozy base in the heart of nature, without the adventure of a long road? This 35 m² holiday apartment is located about 88 kilometers southeast of Oulu, right next to Rokua National Park, in a peaceful semi-detached house. The building was constructed in 1988, and the apartment has been thoughtfully updated, including a renovated kitchen and bedroom floors completed in 2025.
Everything is conveniently located on the same level. The bright combined kitchen/living room is a pleasant place to spend the evening, with ample space for dining and relaxing. There are two bedrooms: one with a 160 cm wide double bed and the other with an 80 cm wide bunk bed. The living room has direct access to a terrace that spans the width of the apartment, inviting you for morning coffee or evening moments in nature. The lower level includes a washroom and an electric sauna, and there is a locked storage area outside for outdoor equipment. Vaulutupa is situated in a beautiful area, close to both Lake Vaulujärvi and the Rokua National Park. Even though it doesn’t have its own beach, a public beach is very close by.
The apartment is cozy and functional, located at the end of a row house of four apartments built in 1996. The apartment itself was renovated in 2023.
Indoors, there's an open living room/kitchen, perfect for spending time together. Two bedrooms offer space for 4-6 people, each with bunk beds, where the lower bed is 160 cm wide. The closet in the second bedroom is not available to customers.
Additionally, there's a sauna, a shower room/ WC, and a loft with two mattresses. However, it's important to note that the stairs leading to the loft are very steep.
