One of the best and most relaxing vacations we have had. A very nice small villa in a beautiful small community that had everything you needed to make yourself at home. The location was perfect as it was an easy drive on a day trip to other locals we wished to visit. The owners were most accomodating and the dinner cooked and served at their home was probably the highlight of the trip. Everybody participated in the cooking with Irene and her mother doing the coaching. We will definitly return and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the big cities, spend time in the beautiful Italian countryside and actually spend time with the locals. It was a great experience!
Our stay at Casa Del Rosmarina was wonderful. The house is very cozy and comfortable, which makes your stay very pleasant. The owner of the property is really friendly and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Stella, the “house” dog keeps you company (outside) while enjoying the evening sun on the terrace.
The environment is really quiet and the views from the house are beautiful.
Anghiari is a small town that brings you back in years. It is has a small supermarket, several coffee bars, some restaurants and a some lovely shops. Arezzo is a half hour drive and worthwhile to visit during a stay in Anghiari. A car is recommended during your stay.
These apartments are located in a beautiful setting. They are clean and well appointed. What really made our stay was the hospitality of Barbara. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
Very nice property, however, a little tourist information would have been very helpful - Like: Map of area, local attractions, Grocery store locations, bank hours & locations, locations of cafes & restaurants, etc. No information was provided & very hard to come by.
Amazing place...breathtaking views, wonderful hospitality, the perfect place to relax and fill your heart with happiness. everything was just perfect and i look forward to staying there again sometime.
Our second time here. Just lovely. Singalunga offers an excellent restaurant, coffee, wine and gelato shops. A pastry shop that looks and tastes divine. The rental is set on the hillside in this relaxing paradise. The market on Tuesday is just steps away, do much fun and the fresh food can be prepared in your kitchen. And eaten in among the quiet green lush garden. Wonderful. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms make this a great place to share. There were two couples and we had plenty of room.
Grounds are beautifully maintained and staff is incredibly welcoming. We ate at the restaurant for 3 meals in two days, the food was top notch. I would highly recommend this location for a quiet retreat
We stayed in the “La Pergola” apartment at Il Poggetto for one week. Our hosts, Fabrizio and Eva, were very nice. The apartment was comfortable, although interior lighting was limited. The farmhouse is in a beautiful location. It is at the end of a steep and bumpy gravel road, which wasn’t a problem for us, but some guests might find the road rather daunting. In Castellina in Chianti, a small town about 15 minutes away, we discovered several excellent restaurants.
The main problem we had during our stay was the lack of internet in the apartment from the day we arrived, Sunday, until Thursday. To access the internet during this period we had to go outdoors and around to the front of the house. This was disappointing, especially since the description of the apartment said that there was internet, and before our arrival I had asked for and received written confirmation from Easy Reserve that we would have internet. During the last three days we were finally able to access the internet but it was extremely slow. We managed to download email, but web pages and messages with file attachments often couldn’t be downloaded.
