We had an excellent 2 weeks in this beautiful house. The photos don’t do it justice. Our host Sabrina and her family live next door. She was lovely and helpful with anything we needed or asked. She cleans the pool and outside area every morning and evening. It’s kept beautiful. But they don’t impose at all. There are many restaurants within 10–15 min walk. Up a huge hill. We certainly got our exercise in before dinner. La Piano is good for something fancy and different. Il Gallo Nero was amazing for pasta dishes. It was the best pasta we’d ever eaten and was only €10 a bowl. We had 5 main courses, 3 desserts and 2 bottles of wine and it was under €100! Unbelievable value. Da Muzzicone was lovely too. We had amazing ribeye steak. There were 3 good supermarkets within a few minutes drive. Train station is nearby so you can travel further. We took a train to Florence for the day which was lovely. We also drove to Cortona, Pienza and Montepulciano. All lovely places to see. Beautiful scenery everywhere you go. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. Highly recommend.
Vacances exceptionnelles en famille, y compris pour le temps, ensoleillé et chaud. Tout était comme décrit dans l'annonce. Sérénité, nature exceptionnelle, silence... Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le "fonds de cuisine" : sel, sucre, aromates, confitures... et en avons laissé pour les suivants. Toutes nos questions ont trouvé une réponse rapide auprès de Miika, aux petits soins. Et cerise sur le gâteau, mon fils a péché le premier jour le plus grand poisson d'eau douce de sa vie : brochet de plus d'un mètre !
La présence des WC dans l'unique salle de douche nous a gêné, avec nos deux jeunes adultes en situation de handicap.
Tout était parfait dans cette superbe maison.
Seule petit bémol si vous voyagez avec des enfants: le 1er étage est ouvert sur le rez-de-chaussée, ce qui fait que le bruit se transmet partout.
Wonderful villa, great location near main roads, views are spectacular. Pool was a delight and the chef outstanding! The property manager, Simo, also outstanding. A wonderful holiday.
