We loved out stay at Casina Di Mello . The villa and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The sights overlooking the region are amazing . The villa’s caretakers where execellent and very helpful . We loved the pool , hot tub and especially the out door eating area . We had 8 people and there was lots of space and a beautiful fire grill for the evenings . The only negative was the actual mattress’s on the beds . They were very hard and definitely need mattress tops or they need to be changed . Overall we loved our stay and would recommend for people to stay here . Barry

One of the best houses we've been so far!! It was a great experience. Saro is very friendly, house is completely new, refurbished, very comfortable. No internet wifi available so far, but who needs wifi when you have the whole Sicily to explore? Wonderful experience, would definetely return.

La struttura è ricavata dalla ristrutturazione della zona agricola limitrofa al castello di Casalappi. Sono stati ricavati appartamenti di varie dimenisioni; il nostro era posto su due livelli , due camere da letto e soggiorno con angolo cottura perfettamente attrezzato. La struttura deve essere considerata come una casa vacanza ed è dotata di piscina e di una zona attrezzata con giochi all'aperto per i bimbi piccoli. La zona è tranquillissima, il mare si raggiunge in pochi minuti di auto e nel vicino paese di Riotorto c'è un fornito supermercato. Ottima la connessione wifi gratuita.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The complex is derived from the restructuring of the agricultural area adjacent to the Casalappi castle. Apartments of various sizes have been created; ours was placed on two levels, two bedrooms and a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette. The structure must be considered as a holiday home and has a swimming pool and an area equipped with outdoor games for small children. The area is very quiet, the sea can be reached in a few minutes by car and in the nearby town of Riotorto there is a well-stocked supermarket. Excellent free wifi connection.

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit großem Grundstück und einem großartigen Blick auf den Trasimeno-See. Zwei separate Wohnungen, die zweckmäßig und mit mittlerem Komfort ausgestattet sind. Die obere Wohnung hat eine große Terasse, die durch ein Zauntor abgeschlossen werden kann. Das Grundstück ist mit einer Hecke abgegrenzt, zu einer Seite gibt es einen Zaun. Es ist geplant, einen Zaun um das gesamte Grundstück zu ziehen, damit ein Hund nicht weglaufen kann. Die Fenster verfügen über Fliegennetze, die Türen nicht. Der Pool ist mit 10 x 5 m gut geeignet zum Schwimmen. Wir mussten allerdings eine Fliegenklatsche zum Einsatz bringen gegen die vielen Pferdefliegen, die uns heimgesucht haben im und am Wasser. Der Pool kann nicht von Außen eingesehen werden, man kann sich ungestört sonnen und baden. Wir hatten sehr netten Kontakt mit der Vermieterin (spricht englisch) und dem Vater. Die Küchenausstattung könnte etwas umfangreicher sein.
Mit Zaun gäbe es von uns als Hundebesitzer die volle Punktzahl.

Ein ganz wunderbares, überragend gut ausgestattetes Haus, in dem es an nichts fehlt, zwar nicht mit Meerblick, aber nur eine Häuserzeile vom Strand getrennt. Grund für die Abwertung sind fehlende Informationen zur Technik des Hauses: Wir haben 3 Tage gehungert, weil der Herd soviele Kindersicherungen hat, dass er auch mit Hotline-Hilfe (sehr nett, aber jeder Herd ist anders) und YouTube-Hilfe nicht in Gang zu bekommen war. Nur mit Systematik und 2 h Einsatz ist es schließlich gelungen. Die Heizung (nachts 8°C) wird sicherlich funktionieren, aber wie, ist rätselhaft geblieben. Schade - es liegt ein zweiter Ordner im Haus, in den dringend Informationen eingestellt werden sollten. Ansonsten aber: super!

The only complaints involve the uncomfortable (firm) beds and pillows. As well as the squeaky floors.

Heerlijk vrijstaand huis in een rustige omgeving.
Wat we miste waren ligstoelen en een ventilator voor de warmte en muggen.
