Villa was perfect, the village was so peaceful and the people very friendly and helpful.
Irene was the most thoughtful and helpful host I have ever known. Her local knowledge and information made such a difference to our somewhat random plan. Such a beautiful area and staying at Il Pigionale made it a fantastic holiday. Thank you, Irene.

Appartamenti puliti e ben tenuti , forse in alcuni sarebbe servita l'aria condizionata, non mancava proprio nulla , i proprietari disponibili e gentili.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We stayed in this wonderful Borgo for a few days a real haven of peace.
Clean and well kept apartments, maybe some could have done with air conditioning, nothing was missing, the owners are helpful and kind.
I would certainly recommend it.
Positiv:
- Gartenanlage sehr schön und gut gepflegt
- Moderne Küche mit hochwertigen Geräten
- Bad mit schöner Optik
- Schöne Aussicht
Negativ:
- Das Haus wird auf der Karte an einer falschen Stelle angezeigt. Tastächlich ist es umrahmt von einer Straße, da es genau in der Kurve liegt. Gemessen an den anderen Häusern, ist dieses keineswegs als ruhig zu bezeichnen.
- Sehr modriger Geruch im Wohnbereich, welcher einen ehemaligen Wassereintritt vermuten lässt.
- Die Betten, welche sich als einfachste Pritschen darstellten, sind mit 1,40m für 2 Personen vermutlich für viele Urlauber zu eng.
- Der überdachte Außenbereich war nicht nutzbar, da die Sitzgelegenheiten total verschimmelt waren.
Weitere Anmerkungen:
- Im Haus befinden sich Treppen, welche für Urlauber mit eingeschränkter Mobilität Probleme darstellen werden.
- Der Fernseher ist nicht nutzbar, da kein Receiver vorhanden ist.
- Das Internet funktionierte anfangs nicht, weil der Router abgestürzt war.
- Anfangs gabe es keine Warmwasserzufuhr, weil der Boiler stromlos war.
- Das elekrische Einfahrtstor hakte häufig und konnte temporär nicht geschlossen werden.
- Der gemauerte Eingangsportal ist 1,85m hoch, somit für größere Menschen eine Gefahrenstelle.
- Der Duschkopf war mangelhat. Er klappte permanent selbsttätig nach unten, was mit der Zeit nervig ist.
Fazit:
Nach mehreren guten Erfahrungen mit Häusern in Monte Pego, war dieses leider eine große Enttäuschung.
Ein Haus, das nicht dort liegt, wo man es vermutet, bei dem man sich im Wohnbereich, bedingt durch modrigen Geruch, nicht wohl fühlt und den überdachten Bereich am Pool nicht nutzen kann, ist nahezu unbrauchbar. Dazu muss man schon Lust auf Heimarbeit haben, um die ganzen kleinenern Fehler abzustellen. Vor der Übernahme kann dieses Haus niemals geprüft worden sein. Beim Check-In wurde uns das Haus vom Parkplatz aus gezeigt. "Hier, das ist es". Da braucht man sich dann nicht wundern, dass innen vieles fehlerbehaftet ist.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht. Die Begrüßung war freundlich, die Lage und Unterkunft des Hauses einfach hervorragend.
Wir können dies nur weiterempfehlen und bedanken uns nochmals bei den Herrn Sternjak.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Haus Sweet Maremma. Das Haus und der Pool ist genau so wie aus den Fotos beschrieben . Der Pool ist richtig groß und das Haus hat alles was man benötigt . Wer Ruhe sucht , findet sie dort . Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit .
Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt ( es ist nicht komplett eingezäunt , darauf sollte man achten )

The pool is really big and the house has everything you need. If you are looking for peace, you will find it there. The landlords are very nice and helpful.
Our dog felt very comfortable (it is not completely fenced, you should pay attention).
The setting for this property is incredible. It feels like you are miles away from the world on a hilltop in Tuscany but it is actually about 5-min from town and a major grocery. A very convenient location. The owners are fantastic. We arrived much later than expected and they opened the kitchen and made a light dinner for my family of 6. We loved everything about our stay here. Thank you!
Wonderful castle with great grounds, restaurant, pool and personnel. We had an exceptional stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As we slept on the third floor, we had to use fans to combat the June heat but the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We wholeheartedly recommend the facility.
It is a very beautiful castle with lovely scenic views. We were there in June. The rooms were very spacious and nice. It is very accessible to other towns in Tuscany. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. The only problem we had was the mosquitoes. We had our windows shut throughout the nights although a few managed to come through..otherwise everything else was great!
Our experience was bad, the hotel has a great location but some of the things that they advertise are not true, to start there was no TV in our room and the room was suppose to be non smokers only but the room stinked pretty bad. The pillows are so cheap that you almost need to put two togueter and the matresses are also cheap and unconfortable. The hair drier was fixed with duct tape and the shower was clogged.
It seams that this place is a college and the people attending the hotel are the students, they have a great attitude and tried to help but the facilities are just in bad chape and without resources
We had a great time at the Mattie´s House.
We would recommend the house and the hosts.
