The accommodation was great for our family of 4. The apartment and facility itself is new and well kept and easily connected to train/ bus. Also nearby store to buy basic stuff n walkable distance to downtown. We had a beautiful view from our room as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Front desk if very helpful.
A beautiful and historic Castello with great staff and a lovely good, and well-priced restaurant. The village nearby was pretty dead (holiday season) with very little open, so you had to travel 5km away to Montespertoli which did have a few cafes/restaurants and a decent Coop to get groceries etc. The situation was great for travelling around to Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, Lucca etc. We had a wine tasting at Corbucci winery which was great fun (about 20 minutes away), and we visited the Rinuccio restaurant, part of the Marchese Antinori wine estate which was an architectural wonder!

Wij hebben geen goede aankomst gehad. De eigenaresse was niet aanwezig toen wij wilde inchecken en bleek op vakantie te zijn. Uiteindelijk via iemand anders de sleutel ontvangen. Geen verder uitleg gekregen bij het inchecken.
De bedden liggen niet fijn.

We have not had a good check-in. The owner was not present when we arrived and turned out to be on vacation. Finally received the key through someone else. No further explanation was given at check-in.

We had the most splendid stay in the Villa. Incredibly spacious, great for our family, we cooked a lot of meals in the well equipped kitchen.
The facilities available are incredible!
Cost of drinks from the bar are great value for money.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und der Service einmalig. Die Freundlichkeit der Niederländer allgemein ist übrigens bemerkenswert. Unser Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet, der Teich vor dem Haus ist bildschön. Wir haben uns wohl und erholt gefühlt. Vielen Dank, bis zum nächsten Mal.
