The property was in an idyllic location, away from it all and so peaceful. Sat Nav took us most of the way but not far enough-straight to the drive, but we got there.
Villa itself was a bit basic, no kettle, had to boil a pan to make a drink, but we managed! Would suggest the owners buy new pillows as 1/2 inch thickness is not much comfort. Bedding and towels were old and worn.
Very disappointed that the pool was too cold to swim in, I am a regular swimmer and can swim in most pools/heat but 17degrees was just too cold for comfort. The sun did not reach the pool until about 14:00 each day in September, so not warming it up enough.
Although I have stated some negatives, overall the holiday was well worth it and this should not deter you from booking this villa. You don't take all your own home comforts away with you! Tuscany and this setting was wonderful. The owners do not speak any English and we communicated with an Italian/English dictionary but we did laugh about this.Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si

Really good value. We were expecting a much smaller and less spacious villa

The property is beautiful and the location remote. It was great to wake up to such peaceful surroundings.

The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Handy to supplies and sights, but must have a car. There is a good variety of sightseeing available from this location.

we rented a three bedroom villa to get a bigger living/kitchen area
as we find one bedroom propertys tend to have small living areas

Casa Montodeli is in a beautiful, private and quiet setting - and it suited our needs perfectly. It is located in a a very good spot for all touring making it easy to reach other towns in the Tuscany area. We highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit.

We were all extremely pleased with Villa Fabbroni and our stay there.
Stephano was wonderfully helpful, keeping our wine jugs filled, making two beautiful, delicious large pizzas for Tuesday night dinner, and arranging a fabulous birthday dinner for fourteen of us on Friday night. We enjoyed the beautiful Tuscan scenery, visited wineries and explored hill towns during the day; had social time in the lovely large living room and cooked Tuscan meals in the more than adequate kitchen at night. Our party of 8 stayed at Torre del Cielo from 12 Sep to 19 Sep 2009. The wesbite photos cannot possibly show the charm of this villa. The grounds have multiple seating areas, 2 for dining & others for sitting or strolling. The landscaping is magnificent as is the inground pool. The views from the pool & gardens areas are breathtaking. The Apennine Mountains can be see in the distance as well as the small villages nearby. The night sky has so many stars unable to be seen from any urban or suburban area. Ripoli was a very small town but the nearby residents were so friendly, even with a language barrier. If you rent a car, be sure to visit the small towns, they are charming. The rooms in the villa are terrific. Each bedroom & bath with shower was comfortable & very roomy & clean. The common areas had pleanty of seating & the dining room easily accomodated all 8 of us. The kitchen has all necessary items for cooking/eating. Our host/owner (Signore Rosado Rosadi) was most helpful & very kind. He speaks English very well & is very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. He was a gracious host. Also, the freezer had ice cube trays (for any Americans interested)---believe me, it is not easy to find them in many places! Signore Rosadi had even stocked some staple food items for our arrival. The washing machine worked fine & we hung our clothes on drying racks to dry. An ironing board & iron are also in the laundry room. We would rate this as a Five Star place to stay (the highest rating in America). We would highly recommend this villa to anyone thinking of staying in this area. It was well worth the money & the fun we had was priceless & the memories endless...

Podere Val di Gallo is a very nice and very neat property. It is well equipped with a very nice pool, a good kitchen, a barbecue and lots of places to sit all around the property.
The view from the terrace is absolutely amazing. You are surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
It´s a perfect place to relax!!! The owners Marcello and Marisa are very hospitable and helpful.
Furtheron Poggibonsi, the town nearby the property is easily to arrive and offers all important facilities like supermarkets etc.
Val di Gallo is very good located, so it is very easy to reach all important places of tuscany and chianti like Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Castellina, Radda or Greve in about one hour.
We enjoyed our visit at Val di Gallo very much and would always decide to go there again.
