I was a little concerned booking a villa for 12 people site unseen, but once we arrived, I knew it was destiny. All were delighted with the accommodations. The residence was immaculate and the rooms were very comfortable. The pride taken in the property was apparent by the frequent owner and caretaker visits, but never intrusive. The hospitality and warmth of the residence was only surpassed by that of Rosado and family. The location was perfect for trips to Siena, Florence, Assisi, Perugia and Cortona, all of which we did along with wine tasting in the area. The local supermarket was a favorite destination, and could we ever forget the delicious meal prepared by Chef Barbara, certainly a night to remember. We cannot wait to return in the future!! Nice location - within walking distance of Pozzolengo village.
Great drives to make along Lake Garda and be sure to visit Sirmione, Sigurta Gardens and Il Borghetto... all wonderful discoveries for us.
The apartment, however, is rather dark (ok for recovering from jetlag)and workshop next door can be noisy if you want to sleep in.
Owner does not speak English, so was glad to practice my Italian !Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rio Corso. We had some difficulty finding the property, but once we figured out how we went wrong it was easy. The property was everything we expected and the owner and his son were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Villa was well designed, clean, modern and attractive. Would highly recommend this property.

The villa is located on the top of a hill in the south of Florence (20km). The view is very good and the place is very silent.
A car is necessary.
Owners are very helpful and add additional services like bread in the morning or selfmade Pizza.
The appartment itself can become very cold in the night (I was there in April) and so it is necessary to use the fireplace. This is very romantic but is also connected with the smell of fire and ash. Dont wear your good cloth.
The kitchen/dining area/living room is functional. Only the couch is old and not relaxing anymore.
When the weather is beautiful and you dont expect luxury you can have a beautiful stay there. If the weather is not good you are very limited but Florence is not far away and you can visit all the museums.

We had a wonderful week in Casa Marta, Pascoso. Fausto was a very welcoming and helpful host. A car is essential but there are so many amazing places to visit and fantastic scenery. The village itself is picturesque and peaceful, the local restaurants are excellent. The villa is beautifully renovated with all you need for a comfortable stay. We loved it.

Our stay in Corte Piccinotti was wonderful. The house is very nice, has got 3 floors, most of the furniture is antique, heating is sufficient enough, it's clean and generally is very comfortable. The most important thing is that the people are very friendly, graceful and kind.

We rented apartment#2, with the living room and the fireplace. Could use a newly furniture which will give the place a warmer feeling. Ask the owners to ventilate the apartment before your arrival. The kitchen is great, equiped with everything needed. The owners are very nice people but they doesn't speek English , so bring a basic dictionary or I hope they will prepare a description paper with all the necessary info in english. Location is excellent, the pool and the garden are fabulous. Apartment #1 has no living room and it is good only for sleeping and breakfast, tere is no place to lay back and rest, good for those who plans to travel all day and use it only for accommodation.
We had to use the heating all the week and it cost us an extra 70 euros, so be aware of that.Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si

Villa is functional and very clean. Nice garden but not that well taken care of. Very sunny villa and spacious rooms, though in slight need of reform. Very well priced and very caring property owner

The villa was beautiful. We loved the location and the house itself. I think that potential renters should know that the road leading to the villa is not for the faint of heart, however. We had a difficult time accessing the villa when we arrived because our car wouldn't go up the mountain. It was nerve-wracking. We did get used to the road and, indeed, grew to appreciate it, but we never let our guard down. Our week at Modonnina was wonderful.
