This was a great Villa, in a fantastic area. Lots to explore and fresh good food available everywhere.
Great views from the Villa, and the Owner deserves a special mention - he went out of his way to show us around.

Tolle Lage mit einem wunderschönen Blick in die Weite. Das Haus liegt sehr romantisch auf einer Anhöhe, die Naturstrasse ist für geübte Fahrer kein Problem, Geländewagen bevorzugt. Sehr ruhig und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Anfang Oktober konnte man den Pool noch benutzen. Wir haben die Ruhe und die Freiheit mit unseren Hunden sehr genossen. Die Inhaberin ist überaus freundlich und hat sogar für uns eingekauft und gekocht, Italienisch Kentnisse sind von Vorteil. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

The house is very romantic on a hill, the gravel road is no problem for experienced riders, preferable with off-road vehicles. Very quiet and equipped with every comfort. In early October you could still use the pool. We have enjoyed the peace and freedom with our dogs very much. The owner is extremely friendly and has even made some shopping and cooked for us; some knowledge of Italian language is an advantage. Overall, highly recommended.
I loved this villa! Molino Santa Lucia is very private & rustic in a good way. It does not have a view but is quite lovely just the same. The long gravel road to get to it is challenging but it was worth it. Being so close to San Gimignano is a plus & we drove to surrounding towns every day as well as started our trip in Venice. I think the value on this villa is excellent & it will sleep 7 easily plus three children. We had two couples with tons of room. The cook we had for two nights, Lorena, is just lovely & the food was delicious. Her husband Paolo was wonderful, too. When we arrived late on saturday evening, she had the house open, lights on & an aromatic Tuscan meal with wines prepared for us. What a way to end a long day of driving & start a vacation in the Tuscan countryside. They were so great to work with & it was nice to have a local couple to contact in case of any need. The villa has everything you would need except a coffee maker! That needs to be remedied! We made some sort of instant coffee every morning! Not the good Italian coffee we planned on! The only negative I can think of is this villa does not have a bathroom downstairs! Other than that, really a fun time for us. Annie L., Charlotte, NC
The apartment was fabulous and in a great location. Certaldo is not as touristy as other towns, so you can take advantage of the great restaurants, beautiful sights and architecture without the crowds. Certaldo is a great home base for exploring other nearby towns. We didn't rent a car, and got everywhere we wanted to go by train (the train station is within easy walking distance of the apartment). Jane the owner was very helpful, and the apartment itself was wonderful.
We are pleased that we chose Il Pigionale as home base for our 2 weeks in Tuscany. The property provided everything the four of us needed. The village had an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance as well as a butcher, fruit and vegetable market, drug store, small grocery store and even a bar!
The location of the villa was very good and the view over the sea was beautiful. While the two upstairs bedrooms we used were comfortable the water pressure in the adjoining bathrooms was poor and would take a considerable time to heat up. The downstairs bedrooms were very musty despite leaving the doors open to air them. This persisted for the entire week and did not improve. The outdoors area was very nice for eating out but we were plagued by wasps. As we were a group who liked to cook at home quite often the kitchen was very disappointing as it barely accommodated two people. Therefore, I would recommend using the barbecue for preparing most meals. As we rented the villa at the end of the season it would appear that it had been run down during summer and a number of repairs needed to be done, i.e. the window between the living area and outside was cracked from top to bottom, the door on the fridge was broken and had to be kept closed with a wooden block and a number of pieces of outdoor furniture were broken. This was disappointing considering the cost of the villa. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay but compared to the quality of a property rented elsewhere in Italy the following week I felt that more could have been done to make it an even better experience.
We are a group of 7 family and friends who travel to together and this was our first trip to Italy. We spent a lot of time online searching for the perfect villa for 3 couples and 1 single...it had to be private, have a great kitchen, a comfortable outdoor dining area, be centrally located, have a pool and a view. Borgo Toscano did not disppoint. The villa itself is exquisite. It's very new yet feels entirely authentic. Every detail has been attended to. The pool area was lovely with chairs for lounging...we would start most evenings here. The well stocked commercial kitchen was a dream come true for our resident gourmet 'chef' who prepared fabulous meals every evening from food gathered in local markets or supermarkets. The outdoor 'loggia' with two large tables, wood fire pit/bbq and a view of the hills was where we enjoyed every meal. Each of the four bedrooms in the main house are very private and separate from the others. Two of the larger bedrooms had a separate sitting area. If we had one complaint it would be that there is not much in the immediate surrounding area of interest. The closest town of Pistoia has a large supermarket but not much else. However, day trips to Lucca, Florence and Cinque Terre are very doable from the villa. It was an outstanding experience for us all.
We had a great time at Casa Simona. The villa is beautiful and well kept, the scenery is wonderful. We are a family of 5 and it was spacious and comfortable for us. The owners were very helpful to us and freindly. The kitchen is well equiped for cooking meals

This property was perfect for us. We wanted a charming place that was central in Tuscany and had at least 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with a comfortable lounge area. This restored house exceeded our expectations. The photos looked like a perfect fit after analyzing dozens on the website. When we arrived, our first reaction when we opened the door was a collective "Oh how nice!". The property was spacious and extremely comfortable. It felt like coming home after a long day of travel and sightseeing. The owner was friendly & gracious and had outfitted the property anticipating most of our needs. She even had a bottle of wine and homemade jam waiting for us! She and her husband renovated the property over 3 years. Their attention to detail and high standards was evident in all the details. It's not a luxury villa, but a comfortable, "cute", historic old chapel that is homey.
Easy Reserve was responsive and friendly. It was my first time using this type of service. I didn't know if they were a good one out of the many you find online and what to expect. I would use them again for any future trip of this kind.
As a footnote, Easy Reserve helped us arrange a cooking lesson during our stay. The owner offered, being a great home cook. That afternoon and evening were a highlight of our trip. She arranged everything we would need, taught us a dozen techniques resulting in a great meal which we shared with several of her friends and relatives! It couldn't have been a better experience.
