Villa Monastero - a great villa and great location for spending time in Siena and the surrounding Toscana areas. We were warmly welcomed by Daniela and Anna after a long day of travel and immediately felt at home. The bedroom on the main floor was cozy and bed was soft and warm for the unusually cool and rainy nights. The villa was extremely convenient for the bus stop and Piazza Gramsci arrival (7 minute ride). After days exploring San Gimignano, Volterra, Firenze, Chianti wine region, and Montalcino wine regions, it was nice to stop at the salumeria across from the bus stop and chat with the locals before picking up food for an evening meal in the villa. Our only regret is we didn't have more than a week and with the rainy days we didn't get to chat with Mario and Daniela more on the patio enjoying a glass of wine and some food!!! Thanks for an amazing week in Toscana, Tina, Steve, Jennifer, & Greg
