This charming holiday cottage is situated in Høynes, just north of the fishing village Vestresand in western Lofoten. The house is on a calm and sunny plot by the sea, with a beautiful view of the coastal landscape and the Nordic Sea in the west. A great spot to experience the midnight sun or hiking in the magnificent nature. If you walk up the mountain Havern behind the house, the scenic view of Lofoten and the open ocean is quite impressive. You can see the abandoned village Borgvær, that used to be an important center for trade. To the north you will see the island Gimsøya with the mountain Hoven and sandy beaches. When the midnight sun colors the landscape red on clear spring and summer nights, you will have an unforgettable experience. The house is a great starting point for road trips around Lofoten. There are several fishing lakes in the area, and along the coast you can fish with rods.
