Grazioso agriturismo con piscina situato nelle immediate vicinanze del bellissimo borgo medievale di San Donato in Poggio, a metà strada tra Firenze e Siena. La proprietà si compone di 3 confortevoli appartamenti recentemente ristrutturati e arredati con gusto e raffinatezza. Tutt’intorno all’agriturismo si trovano vigne e oliveti che i proprietari curano personalmente per la produzione di vino chianti classico e olio extra vergine d’oliva. La proprietà è immersa nel verde della campagna ma al tempo stesso si trova vicino al paese di San Donato (raggiungibile anche a piedi), dove è possibile trovare ottimi ristoranti tipici, pizzerie e negozi di ogni genere.
Si accede alla proprietà tramite un breve tratto di strada sterrata battuta in buone condizioni e adatta ad ogni tipo di veicolo.
Distanze: San Donato in Poggio con negozi di ogni genere a 500 metri, Greve in Chianti a 15 km, la bella cittadina di San Gimignano a 18 km, Firenze a 20 km, Siena a 35 km, Pisa (aeroporto) a 95 km, Arezzo a ca. 100 km, Cortona a 140 km. Roma si trova a ca. 300 km.
A disposizione degli ospiti: ampi spazi esterni con giardino attrezzato con tavoli ombrellone e sedie, piscina (6 x 12 m – profondità minima 1,2 m, profondità massima 1,4 m - aperta dal 01/05 al 30/09) ad uso comune e attrezzata con lettini prendisole, gazebo, ombrelloni, tavolini e sedie, splendido parco dove poter fare delle belle passeggiate con sentieri che conducono al lago di proprietà. Collegamento gratuito ad internet presso gli appartamenti 1 e 2 (WI-FI).
Parcheggio nella proprietà.
In piscina è obbligatorio l'uso della cuffia.
Su richiesta è possibile organizzare cene nella proprietà e delle ottime degustazioni dei prodotti dell’azienda agricola (vino, vin santo, grappe e olio d’oliva), per queste occasioni i proprietari accoglieranno gli ospiti in una grande sala adibita appositamente per cene e degustazioni.
Gli appartamenti San Donato 1 e 2 possono essere affittati insieme tramite l’apertura di porte comunicanti e diventare un unico appartamento adatto ad ospitare 10/14 persone.

liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung.
Küche ist allerdings in einem "Schrank", daher recht kleine Arbeitsfläche und man stösst sich anfangs schmerzhaft die Zehen, da der gewohnte freie Bereich unterm Schrank nicht ist. :)
Direkt vor dem Aussensitz führt eine unbefestigte Straße/Feldweg vorbei, die mehrfach von Fahrzeugen, die wohl zu dem gesamten Anwesen gehören, genutzt wird.
Kein Grill vorhanden, bzw. nur ein gemauerter vor der Terrasse der größeren Wohnung um die Ecke.
Eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Betreuung vor Ort.

Kitchen is however in a "cupboard", therefore quite small working area and one pushes at first painfully the toes, since the usual free area under the closet is not there :)
Directly in front of the outside seat leads an unpaved road, which is used several times by vehicles that probably belong to the entire property.
No barbecue available, or just a masonry in front of the terrace of the larger apartment around the corner.

We were really happy with our stay in San Donato, apartment really good, pool was excellent and surroundings as well! Due to the extreme warmth we'd love an ac and that is the only thing missing. We brought our own fans, they were much needed!

Très belle maison, le site est magnifique. L'appartement loué: très grand, 3 grandes chambres avec chacune sa salle de bain, étaient très propre, bien équipé. La wifi fonctionnait très bien. La maison se trouve au sein d'un domaine bien entretenu, avec une grand piscine très agréable de laquelle on peut admirer la campagne toscane! De plus, l'accueil a été très sympathique. Nous y retournerons! À recommander!

Mooi appartement in een charmant dorp wat op loopafstand is.
Aardige eigenaresse, spreekt goed engels, zeer behulpvaardig.
Bij aankomst een klein probleempje met de bedden wat meteen opgelost werd.
Klein beetje achterstallig onderhoud van de toiletten in de badkamers.

Upon arrival a little problem with the beds which was immediately dissolved.

Bel appartement spacieux dans une grande villa, propre, au calme.
De plein pied et avec un espace privé extérieur avec mobilier de jardin et barbecue, le San Donato 2 est idéal pour manger dehors. On y a vécu facilement à 4 adultes, 3 enfants et 1 bébé.
La piscine est agréable et très bien entretenue.
L'accueil est chaleureux et l'accueillante se montre très disponible et à l'écoute. Elle nous a été d'une aide précieuse lorsque 2 d’entre nous ont rencontré des soucis de santé. Merci Julia pour ta gentillesse et ta disponibilité.
Sans aucun doute, une bonne adresse pour passer de bonnes vacances en Toscane!

At the ground floor and with a private outdoor area with garden furniture and barbecue, the San Donato 2 is ideal for outside dining. It is suitable for 4 adults, 3 children and 1 baby.
The pool is nice and very well maintained.
The welcome is warm and the key-holder is very friendly and attentive. She has been of invaluable help when two of us met health concerns. Julia thank you for your kindness and your help.

Bon séjour à San Donato. Le village est extrêmement bien situé, ayant en plus des commerces de première nécessité : banque, coop, pain, restos, tabac, pharmacie...
La villa est elle-même très bien située, un peu en retrait du village qui reste accessible à pied, jolie, comme sur les photos, au milieu des oliviers, des vignes et des cigales.. Piscine en pleine campagne avec une vue imprenable... Appartement bien fourni, bonne literie, tout est simple mais arrangé avec gout et très propre. Seul bémol, la terrasse privée de l'appartement san donato 1 est un peu dans le passage et en dessous des fenetres des propriétaires, donc il faut simplement avoir conscience que vous êtes en Agritourisme et par conséquent chez l'habitant. Néanmoins, les propriétaires sont charmants et se montrent aussi discrets que possible. Donc à conseiller !Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si

Great Villa in a good location...
A few things really let our experience down and this mainly came down to some miss leading information and the way the owners who live in one of the villas treated us.
Firstly, it is described to have a washing machine, this is not true. One of the owners (mother) will do the washing for 6 Euro per load. And if you think this will come back dry, think again. We returned from a day out sightseeing to have our washing dumped on the outside table, wet and in a garbage bag. So some of our clothes smelt and had to be re-washed.
We also had an additional guest stay (even though we paid for the full weeks villa) we asked if it was okay and were told okay, then when it came to check out time, the owners wanted to charge that guest an extra 20 euro per night which again was not explained nor could we understand why it would be extra when we paid for the full weeks pax. The owners then told us they said it was okay because they could not see all the people who were there even though we were all standing there and they could see us all... Poor communication skills by the owners, seriously.
One last thing is that it says the pool is private, think again, about 10 school kids came one day and came in the pool, basically taking over... Also, you need to wear a swimming cap in their pool which they fail to tell you. seriously, we were on holidays. felt more like a school camp. these swimming caps they wanted you to wear would also cost 5 euro each...
There is also BBQ facilities and you would think there would be BBQ tongs to turn the meat etc, there is not so pack these if you are planning on using the BBQ.
Overall a great villa and location, these other things mentioned about did leave a bad taste in our mouth. There is a cleaning fee too and while the villa was mostly clean, I would not say the floors were kept very clean. No air-con in here either as mentioned on the web so would not stay here in the middle of the summer.Raccomanderesti la Proprietà ad un amico? Si
