Descrizione Proprietà

Il complesso è costituito da tre caratteristici appartamenti facenti parte di un'antica fattoria del 1500: il "SALARIATO", "LA STALLA" ed "IL LECCIO".

Situato a 4 km da Buonconvento, il paese più rinomato della Val d'Arbia, nelle colline suggestive e caratteristiche della campagna senese, le famose "crete senesi".
Una parte è restaurata con il rispetto delle case contadine toscane di una volta: semplici, essenziali, ma dove gli antichi pavimenti in cotto, le vecchie travi in legno e qua e là qualche mobile della nonna, hanno lasciato agli appartamenti quel sapore genuino che piace agli amanti della campagna. Ampia e suggestiva vista sulle colline; posizione tranquilla.

L'accoglienza e l'assistenza degli ospiti viene curata personalmente dal proprietario, il quale ha ricostruito una piccola fattoria con tutti gli animali da cortile (bovini, ovini, cavalli, ecc.), una vigna ed un oliveto.

Oltre all'appartamento del proprietario, abitato tutto l'anno, ci sono tre appartamenti totalmente indipendenti, una piccola e curata corte situata all'ingresso del borgo, ampi spazi esterni naturali (tavolo e sedie per ciascun appartamento), piscina (10 x 14 metri con profondità da m. 0,80 a m. 1,40) in comune con disponibilità di lettini, sdraio e ombrelloni, parcheggio coperto.
Il telefono - per la sola ricezione - presso l'abitazione del proprietario.

La proprietà dista 8 km da Montalcino, la capitale del famoso vino "Brunello di Montalcino", 30 km da Siena, la famosa città del "PALIO" che si svolge il 2 luglio ed il 16 agosto; 20 km da Pienza una delle città d'arte tra le più visitate della Toscana e famosa per il formaggio "PECORINO DI PIENZA"; 8 km dall'Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggiore; 30 km da Montepulciano famosa città d'arte e del "VINO NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO".
Con circa un'ora di auto si possono raggiungere le famose città della Toscana: Firenze, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Volterra, il mare (Punta Ala, l'Argentario, ecc.) ed il Parco Naturale dell'Uccellina.
A richiesta possono essere effettuati, a pagamento e riservati solo agli ospiti, corsi di cucina toscana, pranzi e colazioni.

L'appartement Leccio est idéalement situé, vraiment indépendant et bien conçu. L'accueil des propriétaires est excellent. Ils sont de bons conseils et très disponibles. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

A very pleasant property - if you are prepared to stay in the country about 3kms by gravel road to any stores or places to eat. Friendly and helpful owners with adequate English, but the furnishings and kitchen utensiles should be upgraded. There should be some lawn furniture supplied for the grass area in front of the unit and the furniture around the pool should be replaced.

We loved our stay at Fattoria Armenia. Three couples stayed in late May 2014 and so enjoyed the experience of staying at a family run farm. Steffania, Alessandro, Julio and Jacobo made us feel as if we were one of the family. They were so warm and welcoming and made our stay so pleasant. Salariato worked very well for the six of us and was very roomy. The master bedroom was especially nice. When we return, which we hope will be soon, we will probably stay in the cottage as it has a wonderful private outdoor space on ground level. The views were outstanding and the area as wonderful as it looks. We all loved being surrounded by the many animals including dogs and puppies, lovely horses to visit in the field, and many more. We loved staying at Fattoria Armena. The place was an oasis to relax, yet close to all the wineries and hill cities so we could easily explore. The hosts, Stefania and Alessandro were the great and made our stay unique. There was great service and food, along with many laughs as we discussed the days adventures. The rooms were very large and nicely furnished. Pool and views were amazing too. We will come back - Tom, Patsy, Don, Carmen, Brad, Sara

For us it was a piece of heaven, a glimmer of something we couldn´t expect at all. We enjoyed the view, the pool, the kind hospitality of Stephanie and her family. We left our hearts there and miss especially the dogs :) Everything worked well, was very clean and beautiful concerning the villa and garden.
ps:please, send our hearts back to Finland, we desperately need those.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this villa. It was beautiful, the pool was gorgeous and the view was spectacular. The family hosts were delightful, accommodating and helpful. We could not have asked for more. We would definitely recommend this villa for a holiday and plan to come back again.

We stayed in June and although it was very hot and sunny while we were there the Villa was usually pleasant even without air conditioning. We stayed in the largest apartment, Salario, with 6 adults. The master suite with large bedroom with antiques and beautiful bath is by far the best room, but the other two bedrooms that share a bath are also nice. They were fine for my adult children and their friends.
We very much enjoyed the area and the fact that the Villa is part of a working farm, the owners breed Arabian Horses and on our last night there we saw a horse born--a truly unique experience. Stephania and Alexandro were nothing but accommodating and the dinner cooked on site was to die for. Buonconvento is a pretty convenient town with good train service. Be prepared in this area for dirt roads with lots of hills and if you rent a car likely a stick shift. We saw Sienna, Montalcino, Florence and much more. A wonderful vacation. Note there is a rooster who makes his presence known very early in the morning--but we got used to him. A family with younger children would find the animals just as charming as we did. And the Pool is to die for!!

We booked a stay at Fattoria Armena for a group of 6. We wanted a base of operations that would allow us easy access to wine country, as well as the ability to make day trips to Siena, Florence, etc. We could not have been happier with our choice. Stefania and Alessandro are very gracious hosts, assisting us greatly with reservations at wineries and restaurants in the area. The facilities are absolutely beautiful, and the view from the pool has to be seen to be believed! The property is about 3 km from Buonconvento, where one can find several nice restaurants (da Mario is the best of the bunch), and about 10 km from Montalcino, a must for any wine enthusiasts. We had a fantastic stay, and I recommend Fattoria Armena strongly for anyone looking for a beautiful Tuscan holiday!
