La casa, con 2 camere da letto e 2 bagni, si trova in una piccola città di montagna chiamata Pascoso, nel Parco delle Apuane, a 2.231 metri sul livello del mare.
Pascoso, nella provincia toscana di Lucca, ha poco meno di 100 abitanti ed è così piccolo, con strade in pietra così strette, che le auto entrano in città solo lungo una breve striscia della strada principale. Il traffico è praticamente inesistente e la quiete è assoluta.
Quasi tutte le case della città sono costruite in pietra, compresi i loro tetti, e le pietre lisce delle strade sono state posate centinaia di anni fa.
I proprietari della casa gestiscono una splendida taverna a poche centinaia di metri dalla casa, dove potrete gustare i tipici piatti della cucina locale.
La casa è circondata da un giardino fornito di ombrelloni, lettini e zona barbecue, il quale garantirà la vostra privacy.

Maison très agréable et très bien équipée,propriétaires sympatiques .Ce site correspond mieux ,pour des personnes souhaitant bouger peu en voiture,ou faire des balades en montagne car l'accès aux routes de plaine nécessite au minimum 45 mn

Ottima casa, ottima accoglienza. L'arrivo è stato perfetto casa in ordine e fornita di tutto. Fausto è stato un padrone di casa perfetto. La casa non è di facile arrivo la prima volta ma poi prendendo dimestichezza con le vie si fa tranquillamente e la tranquillità della zona ripaga della strada non subito immediata. Consigliato a famiglie in cerca di relax e contatto con la natura incontaminata. Ottimo ristorante nella zona.

My family (4 children) stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. A charming stone house, very clean and welcoming, bottle of wine and traditional biscuits left for us, as well as a fire set to go in the hearth. Delightful village with lovely restaurant and although remote we still managed to do day trips to the Cinque Terre and Pisa and Vinci. Lovely to experience living high up in the hills. Thanks for having us.

Very comfortable house in a cosy mountain village

Casa Marta est une agréable maison, bien équipée, située dans un tout petit village à la montagne (Pascoso). Le village ne comporte pas de boulangerie ou de boucherie mais une simple petite épicerie. Il y a également 2 restaurants dont un dont nous avons particulièrement apprécié la cuisine (La sosta) situé à l'entrée du village à côté de l'église. Prévoir la réservation. Je recommande cette maison à celles et ceux qui recherche le calme et qui aime la montagne et les promenades au coeur de la nature (Il existe même un chemin de rando qui passe à côté de la maison). A côté de cela la région offre de nombreuses possibilités pour découvrir le patrimoine culturelle de l'Italie avec non loin de là des villes prestigieuses tel que Lucca, Pise, Florence ou Sienne. Je vous conseil un petit tour à vélo à Lucca ou vous pourrez faire le tour complet de la ville et la découvrir du haut des remparts. Pour les amoureux de la plage ils auront également de quoi trouver leur bonheur du côté de Viareggio (compter environ 1h de route). Côté pratique il n'est pas possible de se garer ou de circuler facilement en voiture dans le village. Il vous faudra donc laisser la voiture à environ 300m, avec toutefois la possibilité de l'approcher pour le chargement/déchargement. Le propriétaire est vraiment quelqu'un de sympathique, très ouvert, toujours plein de bons conseils et prêt à rendre service et à apporter son aide pour faciliter le séjour. Il parle couramment l'anglais et le français en plus de l'italien. Bon séjour à toutes et à tous.

The village has no butcher or baker, but a simple little grocery store. There are also two restaurants: we particularly enjoyed the food of one of them (La Sosta) located at the entrance of the village next to the church. Provide for the reservation. I recommend this place to those who like peace and who loves the mountains and walks in the heart of nature (There is even a hiking path that runs beside the house). Besides trekking, the region offers many opportunities to discover Italy's cultural heritage being nearby famous cities of art such as Lucca, Pisa, Florence or Siena. I suggest a small bicycle tour in Lucca where you can go round and explore the city from the ramparts. For beach lovers they will also find their happiness in Viareggio (around 1 hour drive). It is not possible to park or drive easily in the village of Pascoso. You will have to leave the car at about 300m, but with the possibility to approach for loading / unloading. The owner is really friendly, very open, always full of good advices and willing to help and provide assistance to facilitate our stay. He is fluent in English and French in addition to the Italian. Enjoy your stay.

We had a wonderful week in Casa Marta, Pascoso. Fausto was a very welcoming and helpful host. A car is essential but there are so many amazing places to visit and fantastic scenery. The village itself is picturesque and peaceful, the local restaurants are excellent. The villa is beautifully renovated with all you need for a comfortable stay. We loved it.
